Austria was also represented three times in the qualification: Seidl/Leitner, Seiser/Waller, and Hammerberg/Berger participated in their home tournament but all had to bow out in the first qualifying round, each losing 1-2.
In the Round of 12, the Brazilian team George/Andre, who were seeded number 1, had to withdraw from the tournament due to an injury. The Chilean Grimalt cousins were allowed to advance to the quarterfinals in their place. The Austrians Hörl/Horst lost in the elimination phase against the Americans Partain/Benesh with 0-2 and thus exited the tournament.
In the quarterfinals, two more teams left the competition due to injuries: Boermans/De Groot could not compete against Bryl/Łosiak, and Gavira/Herrera did not take the field against Ehlers/Wickler.
The semifinal matches were fiercely contested: With a 2-1 victory by Mol/Sørum against Ehlers/Wickler and a 2-0 victory by the Poles Bryl/Łosiak against Grimalt/Grimalt, the match for the gold medal was decided. The Chileans Esteban and Marco Grimalt managed to secure a podium place by defeating Ehlers/Wickler 2-0. The Norwegians Mol/Sørum defeated Bryl/Łosiak in the final, also with 2-0, earning the gold medal at the A1 Beach Pro Vienna 2024 – already their fifth in the Austrian capital.
