Esmée/Zoé underline their position as favorites in Pool B with a clear two-set victory.
The first set against Hildreth/Van Gunst gets off to a good start for the Swiss. They scored quickly with precise attacks and tried to make as few mistakes as possible. However, both duos seem nervous, but luckily the crowd is there to steady their nerves. The Swiss lead the entire set and win it 21-12!
After the break in the set, their American opponents return to center court stronger and are able to keep the game open for long stretches. In the end, however, the class of Esmée Böbner and Zoé Vergé-Dépré prevailed and the second set ended 21-19.
