In the last match of the day, Schneider/Kozuch gave their all against Siposova/Terenova. In the second set, Schneider/Kozuch leave nothing to chance: After just 15 minutes, they wrap up the second set with a 21:10 victory. This marks the first time the Germans have qualified for an Elite16! Their compatriots Ludwig/Lippmann, however, have already been beaten. With the last match of the day, the final spot in the women's main draw of the Elite16 has been filled.
Thus, Paulikiene/Raupelyte, Hildreth/ Gan Gunst, Hladun/ Lazarenko and Schneider/ Kozuch have qualified for the main draw of the A1 Beach Pro Vienna 2024 as part of the Elite 16 teams. The women's pool games start tomorrow, Wednesday, in the first session. Additionally, the men's qualification matches begin tomorrow. Among the big names competing in the Red Bull Beach Arena tomorrow are the Austrian men's teams Hammarberg/Berger, Waller/Seiser, and Seidl/Leitner, as well as Tina/Anastasija from Latvia and Austria’s number one women team Klinger/Klinger.
